Build a paper desk sign
Make a self-standing name or message sign. Start with one sheet of paper or thin card and a pencil or marker on a flat, dry table. No cutting or powered tools needed.
- Fold a stand · 5 minutes
Bring two opposite edges together, crease the fold, then open it partway. Stand it like a tent, with the fold at the top. - Add your message
Write on an outward-facing side so it can be read from an arm’s length away. - Try it and notice what happens
Does it stay up for 30 seconds? Adjust how far the bottom edges are apart and try again.
